If you have questions on how to fill your tax forms and on tax return, we suggest you come in this session and learn. We invited Dr. ZHANG, Xujie as our speaker. He will lead the seminar all in Chinese and answer your questions on specific tax return forms.

        值此新春佳节来临之际，我很高兴通过学联会向在这里学习工作的中国留学生、专家学者及其家属，向参加联欢会的校方领导、教职人员和各族裔朋友致以新年的祝福。

        回顾2008，中国走过了一个极其不平凡的一年。中国人民同心同德、顽强拼搏，夺取了抗击汶川地震等特大自然灾害的重大胜利，成功举办了北京奥运会，圆满完成了神州七号载人航天飞行任务，沉着应对国际金融危机的冲击，在全面建设小康社会的伟大征程中取得了新的辉煌成就。中国人民高举和平合作发展旗帜，开展全方位外交，为促进中美关系长足发展和推动建设持久和平、共同繁荣的和谐世界做出了新的贡献。我们深知，祖国取得的每一项成就都离不开海外学生学者的热情参与和大力支持。在此，我代表中国驻纽约总领馆彭克玉大使向海外学生学者表示由衷的敬意和衷心的感谢。
