The board members hope you are enjoying summer so far. Upon the election of new president of CSSA for academic year 2011-2012, we nominated and elected all Vice Presidents of CSSA of the coming year as well. I want to congratulate them on my behalf and the previous board members. For those who continue to serve CSSA as VPs, I want to thank you so much for your hard work and the endeavor for your continuous help. For those new elected, I want to congratulate you all and hope you all do very good job this year. Here are the name lists of new VPs for CSSA academic year 2011-2012. Thank you all!

We are planning to arrange a free seminar to discuss how to process individual tax return documentation. If you have questions on how to fill your tax forms and on tax return, we suggest you come in this session and learn. We invited Dr. ZHANG, Xujie as our speaker. He will lead the seminar all in Chinese and answer your questions on specific tax return forms.

Time: 3/19/2011 (Saturday) 2:00pm-330pm Location: Wesley W. Posvar Hall 1700 (map) No admissions fee required.

We will cover questions include:
• What’s Filing Status for individual tax?
• What’s AGI and Taxable Income?

The Chinese Scholar and Students Associate is distributing 2010-2011discount card again.

We're distributing the discount card from this Wednesday through Monday during lunchtime. The location is WPU 6th Floor main entrance. We will put out signs but it is very easy to find you wont miss us.

CSSA is proudly hosting “Pitt has Got Talent” - National Day& Moon Festival Talent Show. We sincerely invite you all to come and celebrate the two big holidays with us! There will be amazing and exciting performances from 7pm-9pm. Mooncakes and snacks are also provided. We will also give out raffle presents to winners of the night. So please grab your friend and come to join us for this exciting moment! 

Time: Oct 2nd 7pm
Location: Public Health G23, University of Pittsburgh.

1. Regular Activities Times: Tuesday 7:00pm-10:00pm, Friday 5:00pm-9:00pm, Sunday 2:00pm-6:00pm.
2. Regular Activities Place: Fitzgerald Field House.
3. Membership Fee: $20.00 per member per term. The money is used to buy shuttlecocks, so that you don't need to bring shuttlecocks to the game! In addition, Pitt CSSA will provide financial aid to us.
4. Fresh Blood Recruiting: We are still looking for some fresh blood to organize our club activities.

CSSA is recruiting new members. If you want to assist us working on providing our Chinese students and scholars better and more colorful social events and activities, please do not hesitate to contact us and extend your interest. We are recruiting assistants for every Vice President, and also sports club leaders. There will always be team-working among all members and through every event and activity. So please do not worry if you are unfamiliar with what you have to do. We will help you out. Please reply to your email with your brief resume with your name, department and past student organization experiences. Also please indicate your interested position(optional), tell us your contact email and phone number.
